Tim joined in October 2002 having trained and worked in London and Paris with Simmons & Simmons. He is an Associate in the Commercial Disputes Department and specialises in:

Tim typically represents financial institutions (banks, building societies, fund managers and financial advisers) or corporates in bringing/defending negligence and contract claims and defending regulatory investigation and enforcement proceedings. He also deals with complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Recently Tim has:
- advised Bank of Ireland on recovery following frauds, including obtaining multi-party freezing injunctions
- assisted Nationwide in insurance recovery following frauds
- defended Marlborough Fund Managers in a dispute over the removal of a fund's Authorised Corporate Director.
Tim contributed the chapter on the regulation of general insurance business in "McMeel and Virgo on Financial Advice and Financial Products- Law and Liability"
