Burges Salmon advises Reliance on UK Border Agency contract win

Burges Salmon advised Reliance Secure Task Management Limited on the contract awarded to it by the United Kingdom Border Agency to provide escorting services of detainees and the associated transport services. The UKBA is part of the Home Office.  The services will include the escorting of detainees within the UK and at the border operations in Calais and Coquelles in Northern France, the escorting of detainees from the UK to overseas and the management of holding rooms at ports.  The contract has an estimated value of £120 million.

The Burges Salmon team was led by commercial partner Philip Davey and senior commercial associate Matt Ramus.  Other members of the team included David Stott and Michael Hayles.
