Acquisition of the Swanage Bay View Holiday Park for £7.25m

We advised Darwin Leisure Fund on its acquisition from Swanage Town Council of Swanage Bay View Holiday Park.

Darwin Leisure Fund acquired the large holiday park on a 105 year lease for £7.25m.

The Burges Salmon team was led by Partner Rick Read and included Louis Mathers (property), Emily Greswell (employment), Chris Pritchett (environment and licensing); and Michael Hayles (pensions).

Swanage Bay View is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Darwin Leisure Fund. Other recent acquisitions include Newton Mill in Bath; Pear Tree in Dorset; Tilford Woods in Hampshire and Carlton Manor in Suffolk.
