We know the importance of having a multi-disciplinary team. Burges Salmon has a well-established team of Project Managers that sit within our Transformation & Projects Team.  The team consists of Project Managers, Legal Project Managers, Business Analysts, Innovation Specialists and Change Managers.   

Our Legal Project Management team includes qualified Project Managers (APM and/or PRINCE 2 Agile qualified) and qualified lawyers. Our legal backgrounds provides the team with the depth and knowledge to understand the strategic, commercial and legal objectives of client and legal teams and how best to adapt project management tools and approaches to streamline processes, deliver operational efficiencies and optimise client legal spend.

Legal project management is an integral part of our innovative service delivery and we work seamlessly with our legal teams to understand client requirements and tailor their approach and tools to suit their needs. Our approach to legal project management ensures that we can deliver this.

  • Legal project management support
    Our experienced legal project managers work to the Association of Project Managers Body of Knowledge and offer expertise in managing complex programmes of work through the complete life cycle.  
  • Project governance
    We implement and manage project structures to support effective project governance and provide consultations on establishing a project governance structure to deliver the programme.  
  • Stakeholder management
    We can facilitate stakeholder management workshops and provide tools to assist in managing stakeholders. We can offer change management support.
  • Effective management information
    We tailor reports to suit client needs and can provide clear and effective dashboards with financial and progress reporting.
  • Legal project management toolkit
    Our legal project managers have developed a range of tools to enhance Burges Salmon's project delivery including access to our online legal project management platform clientspace.  
  • Project risk management
    We actively manage risks by using our skills and experience in line with ISO 31000 risk management framework.
