Overview

General training resources

Employers whose management and HR teams understand the basic framework of UK employment law are much less likely to find themselves in the employment tribunal. Equipping managers with a solid understanding of these employment law skills makes good business sense.

With this in mind we offer a range of training options to help with this upskilling. We regularly run webinars, seminars, bespoke training for clients of the firm and other events as well as offering a fortnightly newsletter ‘Employment Edit’ which, as well as including information about all our events, also delivers the ‘need to know’ employment law developments in bite-size chunks. You can sign up to receive Employment Edit here and can view our webinars on demand here and watch our video Conversations on current themes here

Additional training resources for clients of the firm

If you are a client of the firm, we are also able to deliver bespoke training to your HR and in-house legal teams as well as to leadership teams, line managers and the wider workforce.

Light on jargon, heavy on practical solutions, our employment law training provides organisations with the skills to manage UK employment law issues. Our team is experienced in helping raise operational awareness of the risks posed by employment legislation and help implement best practice through practical, interactive training.

Our employment lawyers offer training on a range of UK employment law issues. We work closely with HR teams, in-house lawyers, directors and line managers and also deliver training to employee representatives and individual groups of employees to suit your business needs.

We can offer training on a wide range of topics including:

  • Essentials in UK Employment Law
  • Workplace investigations
  • TUPE and outsourcing – managing the employment law issues
  • Restructuring and redundancy programmes
  • Business immigration

However we also offer bespoke courses so if there is a particular topic you are interested in please do get in touch.
