Overview

Team moves – potentially great news if you are the recruiting employer, rather more damaging if you’re the employer about to lose your big hitters. Either way you are likely to need strategic employment advice in the context of the move to shore up your position. Our specialist employment lawyers are recognised experts in advising on the enforcement of post-termination restrictive covenants and enforcement strategies.

We are very experienced in negotiating on team moves and regularly obtain and defend applications for High Court injunctions to enforce post-termination restrictions, confidentiality and intellectual property provisions. We always carefully evaluate our clients’ priorities to ensure we can provide advice on a range of strategic and commercial options available in the circumstances.

We offer our clients a legal risk management service, Targeting Talent. This provides a ‘traffic light’ risk assessment of the contractual restrictions applicable to a target recruitment candidate. We offer guidance on how to progress the recruitment process, while minimising exposure to legal risk.
