Advising a Formula One grand prix team on the full range of legal issues, including commercial, insurance, disputes and employment matters.

Advising a world governing body of motorsport on all legal issues concerning the motorsport series that it governs, including disputes over commercial arrangements, rules and regulations breaches and corporate governance matters.

Acting for a global vehicle manufacturer in various disputes, including dealership franchise terminations, dealership frauds, sale of goods and warranty claims, criminal prosecutions, prevention of grey import vehicles, termination of employee contracts, and a dispute with the race preparation sub-contractor for a British rally series.

Representing a leading motorsports and technology business in the Court of Appeal on a Judicial Review application made by several parties in respect of the Council’s approval of its proposed move to new headquarters.

Advising a manufacturer of Formula One grand prix simulators on a wholesale review of its contractual arrangements, developing a cost efficient, legally robust suite of commercial documentation.

Advising a major Japanese manufacturer on the selection and implementation of a new technology system utilising French prime integrator and supporting over £400 million of annual finance transactions across Germany, Spain, Italy, France and the UK.

Acting for a major US vehicle manufacturer in the successful settlement of a multi-million dollar product liability claim brought in respect of one of its vehicle models.

Advising a leading national automotive services company on the outsourcing of end-to-end services for personal injury claims (including medical reporting and multi-disciplined rehabilitation) and accident repair logistics, including vehicle hire and other brand extension services.

Acting for a motor racing wheel manufacturer in a multi-million pound dispute with one of its primary clients over the supply of allegedly defective products.

Acting for a leading vehicle auctioneer in relation to an environmental claim for significant damage to stock and the defending of a nuisance claim which reached the Court of Appeal.

Advising a leading national automotive services company on a number of distribution arrangements for insurance products, including a five year deal for provision of private car insurance worth £160 million per annum in gross written premiums.

Advising a vehicle leasing company on the recovery of monies and/or vehicles from defaulting corporate and retail customers.

Acting for the trustees of various automotive industry businesses, including a tyre manufacturer, an automotive IT systems provider, a vehicle alarm research, development and standards agency, a polymer components manufacturer and a vehicle logistics company.

Advising the finance arm of a global vehicle manufacturer on the £200 million securitisation of vehicle finance agreements. We also advised B Note holders in an unrelated £1.2 billion securitisation on the prevention of accelerated debt repayment following a loan to value covenant breach, which would have wiped out £600 million of value to those note holders.

Working with a vehicle electronics manufacturer over a number of years on their international transactions, including distribution of their proprietary software in Spain and the provision of motor insurance group rating services to Thailand.
