28 June 2018

Burges Salmon is pleased to be sponsoring the Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS) Technology conference and exhibition, which will be held in Coventry, UK on the 9 and 10 July 2018.

The conference will bring together international experts for two days of in-depth discussions and exhibits, focused on the opportunities and challenges of a mobility future that leverages Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) and TaaS technologies.

Chris Jackson, head of Burges Salmon’s transport sector practice, will be speaking on the second day of the conference at 10:30am.

Drawing on the firm’s experience through involvement in four Innovate UK funded CAV projects – VENTURER, FLOURISH, Capri and Robopilot – this session will explore the lessons learned so far in terms of the development of legal and regulatory frameworks to support the successful deployment of CAVs in key areas such as insurance, liability, data and cyber security.

For the full agenda, please see the TaaS Conference website.
