Overview

Alison has over 20 years’ experience dealing with complex, high value financial matters upon relationship breakdown. She deals with all aspects of divorce and financial settlement, and is also experienced in advising on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

She has a niche specialism in cases involving business interests, but also in cohabitation law – including advice on co-owned property issues and Schedule 1 Children Act claims. 

Alison has been a contributor to the Encyclopaedia of Forms and Precedents published by Lexis Nexis and lectures frequently for Resolution and CLT on family law issues. She was for some time a member of the National Resolution Standards Committee and Bristol Resolution Committee.

She is ranked as a Leading Individual in Legal 500 and a Star Individual in the Chambers UK guide. She is described in Chambers HNW 2020 as "very well respected in her market place - Alison is an absolute joy to work with and is a formidable divorce lawyer”.
