Andrew is a solicitor in the firm's projects team, having qualified as a solicitor in September 2018. He has experience in a range of projects for both public and private sector clients. In particular, Andrew has experience advising on environmental law and rail projects.

During his training contract, Andrew completed seats in Construction, Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and Projects. He also gained in-house experience at West Midlands Trains

He graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in History and received a distinction in the LPC.

  • Advising a US headquartered multinational on a project seeking to turn UK waste into an end-of-waste fuel product.
  • Advising UK manufacturers, EU-27 manufacturers and EEA importers on their strategies for the UK’s exit from the EU and the requirements of UK REACH.
  • Advising clients on the legal status of products under REACH (whether an article, mixture or substance).
  • Assisting with the successful appeal of a decision of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on substance testing to the Board of Appeal in Helsinki.
  • Assisting and advising Transport for Wales and The Welsh Government on the mobilisation of the £5 billion electrification and modernisation of Wales & Borders rail network.
  • Seconded to West Midlands Trains Limited for three months, providing assistance with the mobilisation of the West Midlands franchise. This included assistance with rail licensing requirements and general project management.
