Overview

Dan is an associate in the firm's award winning energy and environment team, with the projects department. He specialises in advising developers, investors and funders on all aspects of energy projects including commercial agreements, finance, energy regulation, operational advice and mergers and acquisitions. 

Dan has particular expertise in storage and other forms of flexibility and is qualified in England & Wales and Northern Ireland.

Experience
  • Acting for Zenobe Energy on multiple acquisitions, financings and commercial agreements and providing regulatory advice in relation to the development of its battery storage business.  
  • Advised Gresham House Asset Management, acting in its role as asset manager, on the sale by multiple sellers of five fully operational battery storage facilities, with a combined capacity of 70MW, to Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc.
  • Advising Gravis on a £20 million financing for battery storage developer Eelpower.
  • Advising MUFG’s core banking unit, the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. on the £55 million refinancing of Twin Rivers Wind Farm.
  • Advising ERG in relation to its acquisition, development and sale of the 47.5MW Brockaghboy Wind Farm in Northern Ireland.
