Emma's focus is on ensuring the banking team is up to date with legal and market developments, including:
- development and facilitation of the department's technical legal training programme
- delivery of knowledge and knowhow support
- updating and maintaining legal precedents
- supporting the lawyers in technical legal matters
- assisting in the running of projects in relation to marketing and business development.

- projects finance
- asset and acquisition finance
- structured finance
- corporate recovery and insolvency
- general corporate banking transactions.
With over nine years' experience as a qualified banking lawyer at Burges Salmon, Emma's past clients include banks, FTSE250 companies and institutional investors. Emma has advised on syndicated and bilateral transactions and completed a secondment at Nationwide Building Society, assisting in both origination and restructuring.
