Overview
Holly is a senior associate in the firm's construction and engineering team with a wide range of experience across contentious matters. Her practice includes troubleshooting live projects, as well as the resolution of disputes via formal proceedings, such as adjudication, the Technology and Construction Court or alternative means. 

Holly’s experience includes disputes in various sectors, including transport, infrastructure and energy. She is also a member of the Technology and Construction Solicitors Association.
Experience
  • Representing a major engineering solutions provider on a successful adjudication concerning extensive defects in highways and infrastructure works carried out by its subcontractor.  
  • Advising a process plant owner on a professional negligence claim against its process engineers regarding defective pipework design.
  • Advising a local authority on a complex Highways PFI adjudication, regarding the extent of the service provider’s contractual obligations in relation to road maintenance and refurbishment.
  • Advising a train operating company on various contentious and non-contentious matters, including pursuing and defending adjudication proceedings, as well as providing troubleshooting support, training and project management tools as value added services.
  • Advising the operator of an MBT facility on defending a claim for damages relating to a shortage in the RDF supply to an adjoining waste to energy facility.
  • Providing troubleshooting advice in relation to disputes on various energy projects, including solar farms, wind farms and MBT/AD plants.
