Jennifer is a solicitor in the firm's construction and engineering team. She advises on contentious and non-contentious matters in the energy, defence, real estate and general infrastructure sectors and regularly acts for stakeholders, including developers, contractors, funders and public sector organisations.

Jennifer is familiar with industry standard form contracts such as FIDIC, MF1 and NEC and has experience in negotiating, reviewing and drafting project-specific contracts such as:

  • works contracts
  • professional appointments
  • collateral warranties

and in advising in respect of operational issues and potential disputes arising out of such contracts.

  • Assisting a water utility company in a series of adjudications brought against it by its contractor.
  • Advising a major contractor on trouble-shooting and on a number of complex adjudication proceedings in relation to a major highways project, both against the public authority and against its design consultant.
  • Advising a reserve power developer in the procurement and negotiation of a MF1 based framework agreement and call-off contract.
  • Assisting a public authority on the drafting and procurement of a professional consultant’s appointment under the CCS framework terms.
  • Assisting a developer on the completion of a real estate refinancing in the hotels sector.
  • Advising on the drafting and negotiation of the works and maintenance contracts for a number of energy projects, including battery storage and solar farms.
