Overview

Our team provides specialist planning application advice on complex planning matters. We advise on consultation strategy and community engagement to support planning applications. Our clients regularly include developers, local authorities and other statutory regulators.

Alongside our planning application advice, we have considerable experience addressing planning committees and undertaking negotiations directly with officers and in-house lawyers on mitigation agreements. In support of planning appeals we draft grounds of appeal, statements of common ground and advise on the drafting of expert evidence to be used within appeal proceedings. We are typically entrusted with the management of documents for planning appeals to be heard in public inquiries. We can undertake public inquiry advocacy ourselves or instruct counsel, as appropriate.
