We are looking for a Legal Project Manager to join our Transformation and Projects team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment and have a flair for managing complex legal projects, we would love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing

As a Legal Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of legal project management across the firm. You will work closely with legal teams, clients, and various departments to ensure the effective execution of legal projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive project management support to client-facing projects.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of legal projects.
  • Promoting the services of the legal project management team.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their strategic needs for legal service delivery.
  • Developing and supporting the use of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Setting up new projects with appropriate governance and structure.
  • Managing project plans, risks, issues, resources, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Leading or facilitating project meetings and delivering improvements in legal matter management.
  • Developing LPM standards, processes, and guidelines.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as a project manager or Assistant Manager, with formal project management training preferred.
  • Understanding of law firm dynamics and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing service delivery skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with MS Project and HighQ is desirable.
  • Flexibility to manage competing project demands and work outside normal office hours when needed.
  • A "can-do" attitude and the ability to optimise the performance of both technology and people.
