Professional Support Lawyer – Banking & Finance
The Team
Our Banking & Finance team offers comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of clients across borrowers/sponsors and lenders. These transactions vary in size from £1 Million to £1 Billion across sectors like energy, infrastructure, transport, tech and real estate. Our expertise spans acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, structured finance (including securitisation structures) and asset-based lending.
While the team is based in Bristol and Edinburgh, most of our work originates in London and the wider UK. For cross-border matters, we work closely with our preferred firm international network.
Key clients include:
HSBC, Metlife, Lloyds Banking Group, Tristan Capital, Blackrock, FirstGroup and Puma Capital Group.

Work
As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will be an integral part of the Banking & Finance team. Supporting the development of those in the team and ensuring technical excellence. Here are some examples of the typical responsibilities in this role:
You will also become involved not only in team projects but also firmwide projects and initiatives to support the firm-wide knowledge management, business and sector needs.
What you'll need
It is not a requirement to have pre-existing PSL/ knowledge development experience, the team are open to meeting with individuals who have applicable transferable skills.
