Hot Topics in Employment Law 2020

This popular seminar will combine a round up of the need to know legislative and case law developments from last year with a taste of what to expect in 2020

Having made promises about many things, the new government will have much to do on all fronts and reforms and revisions to our employment laws are no exception. With a variety of proposals in the pipeline pre-election plus a manifesto commitment to prioritise the ‘principle of fairness in the workplace’, the Conservatives’ forthcoming agenda will be interesting.

At our upcoming Hot Topics in Employment seminar, we will be distilling the result to identify the keys employment themes for the coming year to help you plan for what’s ahead.

In addition, we’ll bring you up to date with latest developments on the use of non-disclosure agreements, the changes coming in as a result of the Good Work Plan and the latest state of play for employers wanting to engage non-UK nationals.

We will also, of course, bring you a round-up of the ‘need to know’ cases that have been decided over the last year. From the legitimate use of CCTV to discrimination for perceived disability, there is plenty to discuss.
