From 1 October 2013, brand owners can use the UK Intellectual Property Office’s new fast track procedure to object to later-filed trade marks.

In addition to the already published information on the new process (see our earlier post New Fast Track UK opposition launches on 1 October 2013), the Office has now published a set of FAQs, User Guidance and detailed guidance regarding supplying evidence of use of the earlier right on which the opposition is based.
