Building on the successful launch of the firm's Edinburgh office in May 2019, the appointment of Amy McVey demonstrates its further commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients across the UK.
Amy joins Burges Salmon from the Banking and Finance team at Brodies having previously worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Amy will help develop Burges Salmon’s Scottish Banking practice, with particular focus on financial restructurings, leveraged finance, real estate finance and corporate lending
Amy’s appointment takes the firm’s Banking team in Scotland to three, which also comprises partner Stuart McMillan (who is focused advising clients in the infrastructure, real estate and energy sectors) and solicitor Stephanie Lynch.
