Caroline is an associate in the firm's dispute resolution team. She advises clients on a broad range of contentious matters, with an emphasis on contentious trusts and estates, agricultural disputes and professional negligence relating to wills, trusts and pensions. 

Caroline has a particular focus on advising private individuals and trustees on a range of trust issues in litigation.


  • Advising trustees and administrators on their duties and responsibilities, and advising private clients on their rights as beneficiaries of trusts.
  • Advising trustees and private clients in relation to claims made under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
  • Acting for private clients on proprietary estoppel claims.
  • Advising on will, trust and pensions related professional negligence claims. 
  • Acting for a private client on a high value farming partnership dispute, including advising on complex issues relating to land ownership, agricultural tenancies and succession.
  • Acting for The Crown Estate on land and tenancy disputes.
  • Acting for private and public sector landlords on succession issues in the context of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986.
