Emily is a solicitor in the firm's rural and agricultural sub-unit of the real estate team. She advises private clients, charities and large institutional landowners on a range of matters including sales, purchases, leases and licences. She helps clients deal with estate management issues arising from their ownership or occupation of rural property.

  • Acting for a charity on the sale of a Farmhouse. Managing the surrender of various occupancies and sporting rights in order to achieve vacant possession. Dealing with the rights and easements between adjoining properties and considering sales in light of future development.  
  • Advising a charity regarding the acquisition of a woodland and resolving various title issues. 
  • Acting for The Crown Estate on various disposals and Landlord and Tenant matters.
  • Dealing with agricultural tenancies and where appropriate managing their surrender in return for the purchase of land, a new lease or payment. 
  • Negotiating and managing the sales of various cottages on a large estate and dealing with the rights to be granted and reserved.
