Overview

Emmijo qualified as a solicitor in 2020. She graduated from UCL with an undergraduate law degree in 2016, and obtained a masters in International Law and International Relations from Bristol University in 2017.

Emmijo completed the LPC with BPP in 2018.

She advises pensions scheme trustees and companies on a broad range of pensions legal issues, including:

  • day-to-day running of pension schemes, including advising on the interpretation of scheme documentation, member queries, scheme governance and the exercise of trustee discretions; and
  • projects relating to scheme closures, GMP equalisation, buy-ins/outs and corporate sales.

Emmijo is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
