Gordon is a solicitor in the firm's planning and compulsory purchase team and acts on a range of planning matters for developers, landowners and local authorities. He also liaises with colleagues in the real estate team regarding due diligence matters.

  • Advising Highways England on the various stages of the DCO process and outlining the obligations that they had to comply with as a developer.
  • Reviewing numerous DCO documents for the Isle of Anglesey Community Council in relation to the Wylfa Newydd Development. 
  • Due diligence work in relation to buying and selling property for developers, including analysis of and reporting on Title Sheets, Charge Registers, Local Development Plans and Supplementary Guidance. 
  • Advising Engie in relation to a variation of a planning obligation in respect of a community funding. 
  • Advising a developer on recent legislative changes to Welsh Planning Policy.
  • Advising  a developer on the enforce-ability of planning conditions of an onshore wind turbine development. 
  • Advising a client on strategy in opposing a planning application in the New Forest.
