Grazyna is a senior associate, trade mark attorney within the firm's intellectual property team. She specialises in trade marks and designs and her work focuses on providing clients from a wide range of industries with practical, commercial advice on contentious and non-contentious trade mark issues in the UK, EU and overseas, including:

  • brand clearance, use and protection
  • filing strategies
  • dispute avoidance
  • trade mark registry proceedings
  • passing-off
  • multi-jurisdictional disputes
  • settlements and management of UK and International brand portfolios.

She regularly represents clients in proceedings before the UK IPO, EUIPO and WIPO. Her fluency in French and Polish enables her to handle cases in these languages. She is also a member of CITMA and INTA.

  • Advising media industry clients such as Discovery Channel and the BBC on the clearance of new brands and EU wide brand protection issues.
  • Acting for fashion and cosmetics clients such as Limited Brands Inc and its subsidiaries including Victoria's Secret in relation to EU wide brand protection issues.
  • Advising Bristol City Council and First Rail in connection with brand usage, dispute avoidance and filing strategies.
  • Acting for a Chilean vinery on a conflict between trade marks and Protected Geographical Indications. 
  • Acting for various clients in Trade Mark Registry opposition and cancellation proceedings, including on the grounds of bad faith.
