Isobel Annan Solicitor

Isobel is a solicitor in the firm's projects team. She qualified in March 2021 and joined the firm in April 2021.

Isobel has experience acting for both public and private sector clients on a broad range of international and domestic projects. In particular, she has experience advising on energy and environment matters.

Isobel has in-house experience following a secondment at BP plc in London.

• Advising Mainstream Renewable Power in relation to the €1billion sale of its portfolio of global renewable energy projects to Aker Horizons.
• Advising ICG Infrastructure Equity Fund on the energy due diligence and acquisition of British Solar Renewables.
• Advising Speyside Renewable Energy Partnership Limited on the vendor due diligence report for biomass and CHP plant accredited under the RO and RHI regimes in Scotland.
• Advising an energy company on the due diligence and equity subscription agreement for a UK LNG joint venture.
• Advising a fund on its £60 million debt financing of an operational portfolio of 11 anaerobic digestion renewable energy plants across the UK.
• Advising Community Renewable Energy Wandsworth in relation to an air source heat pump project.
• Advising a fund on a €70 million debt financing for the development and construction of a series of biogas plants in the Netherlands.
• Advising a cluster lead on their bid for BEIS cluster sequencing for CCUS deployment.
• Advising a gas well operator in England on onshore gas decommissioning liabilities.
• Advising various developers, local authorities and water utility companies on solar power purchase agreements in England.
• Advising various buyers on the acquisition of battery storage projects in England and Scotland.
• Advising on RO, REGO, RHI and RTFC accreditation and offtake issues.
• Advising electronics and chemicals companies on UK REACH and EU REACH environmental regulations.
• Advising on environmental permitting requirements, environmental pollution prosecutions and land contamination liability.
