Kate is a solicitor in the firm's banking team. She advises on a range of domestic and cross-border banking and finance matters, including general corporate finance, project finance and real estate finance.

Kate is German speaking and has recently been seconded to a Preferred Law Firm in Germany.

  • Acting for a commercial real estate debt fund, as Lender, in connection with a secured term loan facility agreement to be applied towards refinancing various investment properties. 
  • Advising National Australia Bank Limited and Santander UK plc on the £86 million refinancing of a portfolio of onshore wind assets owned by Banks Renewables.
  • Acting for the Borrower in connection with the refinancing of existing debt to a US lender and funding the purchase of the entire share capital of a newly incorporated company.
  • Advising a global investment fund, as Lender, on a loan notes facility to be on-lent under an inter-company loan for the purposes of financing fitting out works for office space in Southeast Asia.
  • Acting for Financial Services Compensation Scheme Limited in its capacity as representative of the "Exiting Creditors" in the recent High Court and Court of Appeal cases relating to the MF Global UK Company Voluntary Arrangement. 
  • Advising Gravis Capital Partners on a financings across various asset classes, including renewable energy assets and real estate assets.
