Robert is a solicitor in the firm's projects team after qualifying in September 2018. He has experience in a range of projects for both public and private sector clients. In particular, Robert has experience advising on defence and rail projects.

Robert has in-house experience following secondments at EDF Energy and West Midlands Trains. During his training contract, Robert completed seats in PCWS (UK Tax), Agricultural Property, Dispute Resolution, Planning and Projects.

He graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Russian and Czech and received a distinction in the LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice.

  • Provided assistance in relation to advising the Ministry of Defence on the construction of the new Dreadnought Class submarines by BAE Systems. 
  • Assisted on the Alliance Agreement between MOD, BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce for the second phase of constructions for the Dreadnought Programme
  • Assisted the Defence team on the contractual arrangements for the Skynet 6A contract.
  • Seconded to the Generation part of EDF Energy for two months. Dealing with issues as they arose within the Supply Chain, as well as advising the business on more specialist energy contracts with support from the Senior Principal Solicitor. 
  • Seconded to West Midlands Trains Limited for three months. Providing assistance with contracts for the in-house Procurement Team, managing communications between the firm and the client, as well as working with the Projects Team on various rail-related issues. 
  • Acted for West Midlands Trains on a rolling stock contract, liaising with the client, third parties and legal teams on completion requirements.
