Andrew is a corporate restructuring and insolvency partner and heads our Banking and Finance team. He has extensive experience in advising on domestic and cross-border distressed situations.
He has advised numerous investors, companies, management teams, insolvency practitioners, regulators and pensions trustees in relation to distressed refinancings, debt and equity restructurings, contingency planning, options analysis and all aspects of formal insolvency in the public and private sectors.
Andrew is a Fellow of INSOL International and a member of the ILA and Insol Europe. He is recognised as a leading partner in Legal 500, a Band 1 lawyer in Chambers and Partners and a highly regarded practitioner in IFLR 1000. He is also listed as a leading practitioner in Who’s Who Legal for Restructuring & Insolvency.
Experience
- Exedy: Advising Exedy Clutch Europe on the acquisition of business and assets from Saietta Group PLC (in administration).
- Wasps and ACL: Advising FRP Advisory, Wasps Holdings Limited and the ACL Companies on the administration of the Wasps Holdings Group including the sale of the Coventry Building Society Arena and matters relating to Wasps RFC.
- Côte Restaurants: Advising administrators from FTI Consulting on the administration and sale of Côte Restaurants to a buyer backed by Partners Group.
- Tods Aerospace: Advising the Group on a restructuring including the trading administration of aerospace composite manufacturer, Tods Aerospace, resulting in the sale of part of the business to Cobham.
- Bakers + Baristas: Advising the company on its successful company voluntary arrangement (CVA).
- Zinc Hotels – Acting as conflicts counsel to the joint administrators of a £500 million portfolio of Hilton hotels.
