Ben is a solicitor in the firm's Corporate Finance team.  He completed his training contract with Burges Salmon and qualified as a solicitor in 2021. 

Ben has experience of assisting companies and individuals with a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, rights issues and governance.  He has worked on both UK and cross-border transactions across a range of sectors including energy, technology, financial services, hotels, insurance, and food and drink.


  • Advised Bluefield Solar Income Fund on its acquisition of a 93.2MWp portfolio of UK-based wind and solar assets.
  • Acted for Atlas Hotels on its acquisitions of the Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham Snow Hill and the portfolio of six Scottish hotels owned by Chardon Hotels.
  • Acted for a MAPFRE Asistencia on the strategic disposal of InsureandGo.
  • Advised the shareholders of a multinational distribution company in the sale of the group of companies to an overseas buyer.
  • Advised in relation to the sale of a wealth management firm to a private equity buyer.
  • Acted for Nutritics Limited on its acquisition of a menu publishing platform.
  • Advised the shareholders of a logistics software business with the disposal of the company to a US buyer.
  • Assisted Reevoy Capital on various corporate governance issues and fundraising rounds.
  • Advised a multinational transport manufacturer in the operation of its UK companies.
  • Assisted DunPort with the corporate aspects of its provision of mezzanine finance to fund the buyout of third party investor Inflexion by the founding management team of Goals Soccer Centre.
  • Advised in relation to the set-up and governance for several family investment companies.
