Berry Bloomberg Senior Associate

Berry is a senior associate in the private client services team. He specialises in international tax, trusts and succession planning, with a particular focus on clients with US connections. He advises individuals, global trust companies and international financial institutions on a range of issues.

Berry conceived and assisted with the development of ResiCheck, Burges Salmon’s innovative tax residence app.

• Advising on the tax implications for non-UK domiciled individuals of moving to or leaving the UK.
• Advising on the set up and administration of asset holding structures.
• Advising on the UK taxation of offshore trusts and companies.
• Advising on the disclosure of historic tax liabilities to HM Revenue & Customs, in particular tax liabilities relating to assets held offshore.
