Jen is a solicitor in the firm’s construction and engineering team, with a focus on non-contentious matters and keen interest in MMC and DfMA. She is familiar with industry standard form contracts such as JCT and NEC and has experience in drafting, negotiating, reviewing and troubleshooting project specific contracts, such as pre-construction services agreements, preliminary contracts, professional appointments, framework contracts and performance securities.

Jen has also provided construction related input into a wide range of real estate documents, including licences for alterations, development agreements and agreements for lease. She has advised a wide range of clients including:

  • consultants
  • public authorities, and
  • charitable Trusts.

  • Advising The Crown Estate on construction related matters across their major redevelopment portfolio, including St James’ Market joint venture with Oxford Properties.
  • Leading on The Crown Estate's HQ relocation project.
  • Advising in relation to a £180 million 600 sq.ft. mixed use development (including food court, restaurants, offices, residential apartments and high rise hotel) in central Bristol.
  • Advising the University of Bristol in relation to the redevelopment of the former Royal Mail Sorting Office into the new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.
