22 November 2017

Using state of the art digital technology, Wey Education operates two main divisions: (i) a non-selective fee paying secondary school specialising in online education; and (ii) a B2B operation serving other educational companies and schools.

Dominic Davis says: “We are delighted to have advised our long-standing client WH Ireland on this deal. This is a significant fundraising for Wey Education, which will help it to target a strategic acquisition to enhance its Key Stage 3, GCSE and IGCSE capabilities.”

Corporate team partner Dominic Davis and associate Matthew Brace advised WH Ireland in connection with the Wey Education fundraising, having also acted for WH Ireland on Wey’s admission to AIM in 2015.

Mike Coe, Corporate Finance Director at WH Ireland, comments: “This transaction required timely, considered, commercial advice and a responsive service from Burges Salmon. They delivered.”
