This nomination recognises the firm’s growing healthcare practice, which specialises in advising private healthcare providers. This year the firm has advised on a number of high profile matters, including:

  • the establishment of a new transatlantic partnership between our client the University of Oxford, and the US-based Mayo Clinic to support clinical research
  • advising private healthcare providers on procurement law and disputes for high value NHS and local authority contracts;
  • advising Bank Leumi and HSBC on a £125m revolving credit facility to Audley Group, the UK’s leading provider of luxury retirement villages, to fund existing and future developments; 
  • working with Virgin Care to establish a new self-pay health and wellbeing offering – Virgin Care Private; and
  • advising Optegra Eye Healthcare in the acquisition of the renowned Arnott Eye Care practice on Harley Street.

The awards are organised by LaingBuisson, the market-leading healthcare consultancy.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony taking place on 18 November 2018 at the Westminster Plaza Hotel in London.
