Overview

Ed is a senior associate in the firm's pensions team and advises clients on a range of pension matters, with experience of both public and private sector pension arrangements.

Ed trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2013. He is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.

Experience
  • Acting for a number of Pension Funds of the Local Government Pension Scheme. Advising on a wide range of issues, including employer admission process and policy, employer debt management and governance issues. 
  • Advising the Department for Transport on all pension issues relating to the incorporation of Highways England Company Limited and the transfer of around 3,000 civil servants from the Highways Agency, including negotiating admission to the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme. 
  • Supporting the Department for Education on all pensions matters associated with children's services intervention projects.
  • Advising various trustee and corporate clients in relation to all aspects relating to their occupational pension schemes.
  • Advising corporate clients on the requirements of automatic enrolment.
