Cyber Surgery: February 2021

Burges Salmon introduces the next 'Cyber Surgery' series event in collaboration with Grant Thornton

26 February 2021

This surgery was hosted by Matthew Walker and David Varney of Burges Salmon and Vijay Rathour and James Arthur of Grant Thornton, and moderated by Golnaz Bahador-Bakhtiari on Thursday 25 February 2021.

The interactive session focused on addressing any questions and concerns relating to cyber risks, allowing participants the opportunity to ask questions about frequently under-estimated challenges of agile working and regulatory expectations, including but not limited to:

  •  Brexit and maintaining resilience
  •  Concerns around IT and business operational resilience post COVID-19
  •  Increase in cyber risks with broadened and weakened attack surfaces
  •  How to respond to cyber incidents and to stay alive to the evolving threat landscape as attackers evolve their strategies

If you would like to discuss any of the points raised, please contact David Varney.

Please note: Information provided on the registration form or collected during the event will be shared with our event partner, Grant Thornton, and used for pre- and post-event administration purposes only. View the event hosts’ privacy policies here: Grant Thornton, Burges Salmon
