Burges Salmon’s Corporate team has advised Gresham House Asset Management, acting in its role as asset manager, on the sale by multiple sellers of five fully operational battery storage facilities, with a combined capacity of 70MW, to Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc (the “Fund”).

The Fund was recently admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange and will invest in utility-scale operational energy storage systems located in Great Britain. The Fund will be managed by Gresham House Asset Management going forward.

The cross firm team was led by Corporate partner Camilla Usher-Clark and Projects partner James Phillips.

Camilla says: “We are pleased to have been involved in such a significant and strategically important step for Gresham House and its recently launched fund, Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc.”

Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc was listed on the London Stock Exchange (Specialist Fund Segment) and shares commenced trading on 13 November 2018.
