The Environment team has contributed to the International Comparative Legal Guide to: Environment & Climate Change Law 2020 with partner Simon Tilling as contributing editor

The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Environment & Climate Change Law 2020, published in February, provides an insight into common issues in environment and climate change laws and regulation, covering topics such as environmental permits, waste, and environmental policy and its enforcement.

Partner Simon Tilling and senior associate Joanne Atwood from the Burges Salmon Environment team have contributed three chapters to the guide, with Simon taking up the role of contributing editor for this particular edition from ICLG.com.

In their chapters, Simon and Joanne address UK environmental law, the challenges facing environmental governance and the impact of a UK legislative commitment to net zero by 2050.
