Sarah Hoskinson, partner and head of Burges Salmon’s Family & Divorce practice, as part of the Pensions Advisory Group (PAG), has received the John Cornwell Award by Resolution, for an outstanding contribution to Family Law.
PAG comprises the leading pensions on divorce lawyers and financial experts and is chaired by two senior family judges. The group was charged with the task of producing a report to better educate family lawyers, judges and litigants in person on the difficult subject of the treatment of pensions on divorce.
Sarah is a leading name in this field and also co-chairs the International Academy of Family Lawyers’ pensions committee.
Sarah says: “The John Cornwell Award recognises the hard work that all of the members of PAG put in to create a report that has already been followed in two reported cases. The Family & Divorce team is delighted to be at the forefront of this work and for PAG to be recognised in this way is a great honour.”
