Ralph Lovesy Director

Ralph is a Director in our financial services team.

He undertakes a wide range of financial services regulatory work, with particular expertise in relation to retail financial products including consumer credit, payment services, mortgages, bank accounts and insurance.

• Providing regulatory and commercial advice to merchant acquirer startup.
• Advising major white-label credit card issuer on consumer credit issues relating to overdrafts, loans and credit cards and on insurance intermediation and administration activities.
• Advising high street retail bank on consumer credit issues, including producing extensive policy and procedures on connected lender liability (section 75).
• Drafting and amending suite of regulated mortgage contracts for private bank.
• Advising high street retail bank on compliance and risk issues relating to current and savings accounts.
• Advising start-ups and entrepreneurs on a variety of fintech products and propositions.
• Formulating policy and producing guidance for two financial services regulators.
• Drafting suite of exempt secured and unsecured lending agreements for leading legal know-how publisher.
