Gareth is an associate in our banking team and advises on a broad range of domestic and cross-border banking and finance assignments across a variety of sectors. 

In addition to loan origination and good book lending, Gareth's experience encompasses distressed situations involving financial restructuring, contingency planning and formal insolvency where he advises clearing banks, debt funds, corporates, insolvency practitioners, management teams and pension trustees. 

Experience
  • Advising ICG Longbow on a £15.5 million syndicated term loan investment facility to refinance a portfolio of UK commercial properties. 
  • Advising RBS on its provision of an acquisition finance facility to fund a bolt-on acquisition for a national IT infrastructure business.
  • Advising the senior lenders to two UK biomass projects on the amendment and restatement of their facilities. 
  • Advising a private bank on a range of novel crowdfunding and sub-participation structures.
  • Advising NatWest on the terms of its development funding to a leading UK industrial developer. 
  • Advising a local authority on contingency planning options relating to a distressed utilities provider.
