We are delighted here at Burges Salmon to have been part of the Steering Group for the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult developing this report on the floating wind development and consenting process, which was launched at Renewable UK's Floating Wind conference in Aberdeen yesterday.    It aims to accelerate stakeholder understanding of those consenting issues which are specific to floating wind projects, to facilitate the delivery of the government targets for this technology.  We were also one of the developer-side interviewees, drawing on our experience of promoting floating wind projects in Wales, Scotland and England and our wider fixed foundation experience.
