Jenny is a solicitor in the Corporate team, based in the Edinburgh office.

She advises a range of clients, including private companies and funds, on a variety of matters, many with a cross-border element. These include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments, group reorganisations and general corporate governance matters.

Jenny works across a diverse range of sectors, with particular experience in renewable energy and life sciences. In the renewable energy sector, she has advised on transactions involving onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage projects.

Experience

  • National Wealth Fund: Acted on its £50 million equity investment in AMP Clean Energy, a transaction that will accelerate the deployment of low-carbon energy infrastructure across the UK.
  • EDF power solutions: Acted for EDF power solutions UK (previously EDF Renewables) on its acquisition of the Gate Burton Energy Park project in Lincolnshire from Low Carbon.
  • Blackfinch Energy: Acted for Blackfinch Energy, part of the Blackfinch Group, on its acquisition of Muirhall Wind Farm Extension, the high-performing operational wind project based in South Central Scotland.
  • UPM Raflatac: Advised Finland-based UPM Raflatac, a global supplier of self-adhesive paper and film products, on its £146 million acquisition of Metamark, a UK-based manufacturer and distributor of graphics solutions.
  • Alba Trees Limited: Lead the Cibus Fund II portfolio company’s acquisition of the business and assets of Christies of Fochabers, the long established Scottish bare root tree nursery.
