About
Rosie is a Social Value Specialist in our Responsible Business team. She leads the firm’s client-focused social value offering, helping clients develop and deliver initiatives that create meaningful outcomes for communities while supporting wider business objectives.
Rosie works across social value strategy, programme delivery, impact reporting and stakeholder engagement. She collaborates with clients, colleagues and community partners to design initiatives aligned to local needs, while supporting tailored social value responses for bids, pitches and tenders. She also contributes to the development of the firm’s pro bono programme and wider responsible business agenda.
Rosie brings a distinctive combination of legal, social mobility and social value expertise. Having completed a Legal Practice Course with Master of Laws (LLM) and a Graduate Diploma in Law, both with Distinction, she began her career in the legal sector before moving into the charity sector. Prior to joining Burges Salmon, she completed IntoUniversity’s Graduate Scheme and progressed through several roles with the education charity, designing and delivering programmes that helped young people from underrepresented backgrounds raise aspirations, develop employability skills and access higher education.
Alongside her role at Burges Salmon, Rosie contributes to Business in the Community’s Pride of Place programme, Bristol City Council’s One City Mission and Voscur’s Social Value Pioneers project, helping connect business resources with community priorities to deliver lasting social impact.
