We are pleased to announce the appointment of Hamish Corner as a new partner in our Commercial and Technology team, based in our London office. Hamish specialises in privacy, data and technology law, and will lead the firm’s expanding privacy and data practice.
Hamish’s appointment marks a significant strategic investment in our Commercial Technology practice, reinforcing our commitment to delivering market-leading legal services across the technology, energy, media, retail, automotive and life sciences sectors. His arrival will further enhance the firm’s ability to support clients who are navigating digital transformation, data governance, AI, cyber security and emerging technologies.
With around 25 years of experience advising UK, EU and international clients, Hamish brings deep expertise in privacy, data and technology matters. As well as his core data regulatory and compliance practice, Hamish regularly advises on complex technology transactions, cross-border data transfers, data breaches and regulatory investigations. He also acts as the Data Protection Officer for several major international businesses. Hamish has particular strength in supporting consumer, retail, finance and other regulated businesses, having previously co-founded and led a US office of a law firm advising American clients on UK and EU privacy and commercial matters.
