Which areas can I work in?
Our business apprenticeship opportunities can be found within our Finance, Marketing, Project Management and IT teams. You can find out more about what we do on our areas of work page. You will be based in one of these areas for the duration of your apprenticeship.
What will I study?
The level of apprenticeship and programme of study varies from department to department. All our apprenticeships are higher level apprenticeships (Level 3 and over) with some areas offering integrated degree apprenticeships. How long does an apprenticeship take?
The length of the apprenticeship varies depending of your area of work and ranges from 2-4 years. In some areas there will be opportunities to complete further qualifications or apprenticeships.
Will there be a permanent job for me at the end of the apprenticeship?
We recruit to retain and hope that an apprenticeship is only the start of a long career at Burges Salmon. If you prove that you have what it takes to succeed in your area of business there will be a role for you.
Where will I be based?
All positions will be based at One Glass Wharf, our Bristol HQ. Located in the heart of the Temple Quay area, we sit in the legal and business hub of the city, only five minutes' walk from Temple Meads station.
We offer a hybrid working model, meaning many of our people spend some of their time working from home and this is something you will be able to do when appropriate. As an apprentice you may be required to travel to attend face-to-face teaching with our training providers.
Salary
The starting salary for all our apprenticeship opportunities is £22,000.
Salaries will be reviewed each year and will be related to your chosen business area and job role.
