Where will you work?

You will be based in our Legal Service Delivery Centre. The Centre plays an integral role in supporting our legal departments and clients.

Who will you work with?

You will work within a team of paralegals and report to the team manager. You will be assigned a 'buddy' who will be a more senior paralegal within the team. They will provide support in respect of your work and guidance on life at the firm. The team works together very closely and regularly participates in sports, social and charity events at the firm.


To start with you will be involved in a range of administrative level tasks that will give you exposure to a variety of work. These may include:

  • assisting with the opening, progress and closing of files
  • attending meetings and taking notes
  • managing data/records
  • reviewing documents
  • collating bundles for court
  • collating transactional documentation
  • carrying out research
  • handling confidential and sensitive information
  • understanding and utilising basic financial information
  • communicating both in writing and orally with people from across the firm.

You will start your apprenticeship by learning the basics. As time goes on you will experience different areas of the firm, diversify your workload and increase your level of responsibility. By the end of the apprenticeship you will have developed a wide range of invaluable transferable skills and have a thorough understanding of what it is like to work in a top commercial law firm .


We will pay you a competitive starting salary of £15,500 pa.

    Final interviews and offers will be made during April (offers are conditional on A level results).

    A Level results day
    Offers confirmed. Pre-induction day arranged at the firm to meet the other apprentices. 
  • September 2018
    Start apprenticeship
    Successful applicants begin their two year apprenticeship.
