Cyber Risk for Pension Schemes

  • Event location On-demand

In this webinar, our speakers discuss what action pension schemes should take to build their cyber resilience, focusing on two key themes: managing your suppliers and understanding your cyber risk.

In light of the updated regulatory environment, our panel of You Yu (The Pensions Regulator), Paul McGlone (Aon), Samantha Howell (Burges Salmon) discussed what action pension schemes should take in relation to cyber security, including the relevant aspects of the General Code of Practice, The Pensions Regulator’s updated cyber security guidance (from December 2023), and The Pensions Regulator’s Intervention Report on the Capita Cyber Incident (from February 2024).

Each of the speakers presented on aspects of cyber risk, followed by a Q&A panel – with partner Richard Pettit quizzing the panel with relevant questions.

In particular, they focused on two key themes which were:

  • managing your suppliers
  • understanding your cyber risk
