We are recruiting NQ Solicitors (qualifying this September) for our top tier Banking & Finance offering to supplement our internal qualifying cohort. You will work with high‑profile clients across a diverse range of sectors and contribute to some of the most innovative and nationally significant projects in the UK.

Why Banking & Finance at Burges Salmon?

Our Banking & Finance team offers comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of clients across borrowers/sponsors, and lenders. You'll work on transactions from £1 million to £1 billion across sectors like energy, infrastructure, transport, and real estate. Our expertise spans acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, structured finance (including securitisation structures) and asset-based lending.

We provide mentorship, training, and exposure to a variety of transactions and clients, including cross-border deals with international clients and law firms. You'll collaborate with colleagues and prestigious clients like HSBC, Metlife, Lloyds Banking Group, Tristan Capital, Kreos Capital, Mobico and Beechbrook Capital.

What You Will Need

A Banking & Finance seat is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate interest in our core sectors and who have gained transferable skills from seats.

You must be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales by September 2026.
