We are hosting two Open Days in-person at our Bristol HQ on 16 and 18 March 2026. The Open Day on 16th March is tailored to 1st year law students, whereas the Open Day on 18th March is tailored to non-law students of any stage. You are only eligible to apply to one Open Day so please ensure you apply to the correct vacancy on our website.

Why attend an Open Day at Burges Salmon?

The purpose of our open days is to provide an insight into a career in law and specifically what it is like to be a lawyer at Burges Salmon.

The day will include:

• Practice area talks from lawyers across the firm,
• 'Day in the life of a trainee solicitor' presentation,
• A group activity,
• An overview of the recruitment & application process,
• Lunch with the opportunity to network with Burges Salmon colleagues.

Application eligibility

We will consider applications from undergraduates from any discipline, graduates, career changers and those currently taking the GDL, LPC or SQE.

Please note, we have a limited number of spaces available on our Open Days. Applicants will be informed of the outcome after the application deadline.
